I think I need a 5 hour boost!

Dear Readers,

So much to do before we take off this afternoon! Just finishing packing and then I going to put on my cleaning lady hat and get this place in shape, I just hate leaving my house messy when we go on trips. Boys are at their last day of school and we hope to leave soon after they get home. However, if Kadin can get his foot in the door for 15 min. this house will be turned upside down again. oh well, at least I will have tried. :) I am hoping to update the blog every evening around 9pm after the kids are down for bed. Feel free to ask any questions or post comments along the way it will only make the blogs more interesting. next time I write it will be from Wisconsin.

Getting ready to embark on a new adventure!

Dear Readers,
Well, today is Thrusday and I am trying to wrap up all the loose ends before our trip. Thinking of being in a hotel room for 4 weeks is giving me a slight panic attack, but I think the excitement of trying this new treatment with the boys trumps all. At this point any improvment for Kadin will be welcomed! I thank God that he has granted us this opportunity.

A Burst of Energy!

Dear Readers,

After several days of feeling very stressed I found myself looking about my apartment and got a burst of energy from God knows where and cleaned my kitchen. I have always dreamed that I would go to sleep to an untidy house and wake up to find it clean. Well, My energy only lasted until the kitchen was done but heck I will wake up to a clean kitchen, I can live with that! :)

Goodnight!

angels working overtime

Dear Readers,

My son Kadin is one of those children that God has assigned at least 2 gaurdian angels. I belive even Michael the archangel himself has helped out in tuff situations. My son
Kadin has Autism Spectrum Disorder and Speech impairment. My son has many talents such as climbing on or up anything even if it is a flat wall! He can get out of any lock and has wandered off more times than I can count. There are days when I wish he would just be a nomal 5 year old and play with toys ect. but I have become accustom to him and his oddities and love him more than words can express. This morning was another heart stopper. I had just woke up, it was 5:45am, and Kadin was awake. My husband went out into the livingroom to sleep and I let Kadin out to play in the livingroom. Both our front and back doors were locked and chain locked etc. I felt an uneasy feeling come over me at around 6:35am I just couldn't shake it. At 6:45am my cell phone rang and it was my dad, who lives in the apartment below us. Kadin had gotten out of the back door and my dad had found him outside. I leaped out of bed got dressed and ran outside to find Kadin quietly seatbelted into his power wheel waiting for someone to give him a ride. This whole situation comes on the heels of him wandering off just a few days earlyer on the 4th of July. I am only 32 years old but I feel a year older every time Kadin wanders off. Will it be the last time i see him? Will we find him this time? These are a few of the thoughts that race through my mind. Minutes seem like hours and hours seem like days. Thank you God for lending me your angels again and for keeping Kadin safe from harm.
